In this Pandemic situation IRDAI announces to compulsory launch of two insurance products related to Novel coronavirus (Covid 19). Purpose for both the products to covers the micro areas, middle line and low line population. because major %age of Middle and Low line population is either not able to take good treatment at their cost or it impact on as financial crunch for whole life.

IRDAI finalized the guidelines of products on 26th June 2020 and products from the companies will be launched on 10th July 2020.

Covid Standard benefit Health Policy- Corona Rakshak Policy

  • Covers 100% S.I
  • 72 Hrs waiting period
  • Cover start after 15 days
  • Sum Insured Rs. Rs.50000/- to 2.5 Lacs
  • Period of Insurance 105, 195, 285 days
  • Age 18 to 65 years

Covid Standard Indeminity Health Policy- Corona Kavch Policy
  • Covers Hospitalization expenses for boarding, PPE kits, gloves all such expenses and AYUSH.
  • Sum Insured Rs. Rs.50000/- to 5 Lacs
  • Age 18 to 65 years.
